Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) serves as the region’s central air traffic hub and has two main terminals – Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. These modern terminals are the contact points for national and international flights, equipped with numerous amenities for travellers.
Terminal 1
The centrepiece of BER Airport, Terminal 1 is the main handling area where the majority of flights are processed. It offers a variety of facilities, including check-in desks, security checkpoints, shops, restaurants and waiting areas.
Terminal 2
Terminal 2 serves as a complement to Terminal 1 and is mainly used for additional capacity at peak times. It has similar facilities to Terminal 1, but is smaller.
Terminal 5
The former Terminal 5, located at the old Schönefeld Airport, is no longer in operation and is no longer used for passenger flights.
